Units used to measure the size of electrical wires. The smallest wires are measured by GAUGE with 18 GAUGE being a very thin doorbell wire and 2 GAUGE being a larger wire. Wires larger than 2 GAUGE are measured in AUGHTS. Wire larger than four AUGHT are measured in micro-circular-mills or MCM.
